The term ‘Chaplain’ in the Ordinariate, refers to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Military Occupation Specification Identification (MOS ID) number.  The MOS ID number for any chaplain of any faith group/tradition is 00349. 

This terminology is specific to CAF as a ‘’Career’’ appellation.

It is NOT intended to be use as per canon 230 §2 in the exercise of a ‘’functions’’ in the Church or the application of canon 564.

Le terme "aumônier" dans l'Ordinariat, fait référence à l'identification du groupe professionnel militaire de la spécification du métier militaire (ID GPM) des Forces armées canadiennes (FAC).  Le numéro ID GPM pour tout aumônier de tout groupe confessionnel/tradition est 00349. 

Cette terminologie est spécifique aux FAC en tant qu'appellation de "carrière".

Il n'est PAS destinée, selon l'interprétation du canon 230 §2, à l'exercice d'une "fonction" dans l'Église ou de la compréhension du canon 564.
